Take the Beck Anxiety Inventory Test Today
If you want to evaluate your level of anxiety symptoms, you can take the beck anxiety inventory test. When taking the test, one will have to reflect on his feelings he experienced in the past one week. The test will be able to let one determine the level of their anxiety symptoms.
In the inventory, respondents have four answers to choose from:
*Not at all
*Mildly (”but it doesn’t affect me much”)
* Moderately (”it is unpleasant at times”), and
* Severely (”it bothered me greatly”).
These answers are ascribed by the respondent according to the specific symptoms described in the inventory questions, such as muscle tension and tingling sensations, feelings of dread, hot or cold sweats, and so on.
Every answer comes with a corresponding rating. The total sum of the ratings is then used to measure the respondent’s anxiety level. The highest possible score is 36. A score that is in the range of 0 to 7 reflects very low anxiety levels. Any score that is higher than 26 indicates a very high level and serious case of anxiety.

Interpretation of scores
A low score of 0 to 7 can mean that the respondent is suffering a low anxiety level, which is generally ideal. However, it can also mean that the victim is delusional or has an unreal perception of his life. A low score may also indicate that one is detached from the real world and himself.
A score that is in the range of 8 to 21 reflects a moderate anxiety level. This shows that your body is trying to send signals to you. There are unique situations that can cause anxiety levels to fluctuate, such as the need to speak before a crowd, making presentations, during school examinations or even during intimate moments with someone. There are many methods to help soothe and calm one down to ensure that one is able to do the activity well.
A score that is higher than 22 reflects a very high anxiety level, and it requires your immediate attention. Remember, anxiety does not necessarily mean that one is a failure or a mentally weak person. It requires you to take proactive measures to prevent the anxiety disorder from aggravating and causing your body and mind to become weak. Medication and therapy are two effective treatments in curbing anxieties.
Taking the Beck anxiety inventory test is a simple process and the scores are excellent for revealing one’s anxiety level. To track your progress, take the inventory test again after treatment has been administered.
