Everyone Gets Acne, Don’t Waste Your Money On Products That Don’t Work
Acne is such a common problem that I’m sure there aren’t many people who haven’t been through it. I know I certainly have! There was a long period of my life where I had acne quite severely and hence I’ve been left with scars. I have had most of them removed via laser surgery but there are a few left to remind me.
There are a huge range of products that prey on teenagers hopes of getting rid of acne fast. In reality there is no quick fix to getting rid of acne unfortunately, it is a long process and will mostly take place regardless of what you try and do to get rid of it. There isn’t a cure for acne at the moment so don’t buy any supposed miracle products.
Acne must be one of the few things that has more fake cures than real ones! When I was trying to get rid of my acne I spent huge sums of money on expensive products that claimed to be able to help. It’s difficult to tell whether they did or not, but I now know that cleaning your face more will not get rid of acne as the problem isn’t caused by dirt. The majority of products are based on cleaning and hence probably don’t make a difference.
Luckily over time the acne started to go away and that is what will happen in the majority of cases so try not to worry. Acne comes at a very difficult time in our lives so it is hard not to spend time thinking about how much more confident or attractive you’d be without it – that will all come in time. I know how you feel because I went through exactly the same thing and it isn’t pleasant!
